Excitement is building in the lead up to Lake Mulwala's annual "Yamaha Cod Classic" fishing competition. Being a milestone of its 18th year, competitors will be the ones getting all the presents! The Cod Classic celebrates the opening to Cod season and is now an iconic event on the Australian fishing calendar not to be missed.
Measuring of Natives
After last year's successful implementation of photograph verification of legal native captures, this will continue for the future. Again, you will have to photograph your capture on a "brag mat" or other measuring device and have the capture verified at the completion of the day's fishing. This year we will be only accepting photographs of Golden Parch that measure in excess of 45cm regardless of the minimum legal size being 30cms. All Carp will have to be taken to a limited number of collection points for you to receive your ticket in the "Carp Boat Draw" A complete set of measuring and photographing regulations will be available upon registration.
